Stunning "Old Hollywood" glam, 1940’s Marmot fur vintage coat by Benton Furs in Los Angeles, CA. Lustrous dark cognac brown, bronze and amber coloring blended throughout. Large hidden hook and eye closures down the front with exposed embroidery button at the neckline for complete high neckline closure and added style. Very wide belled sleeves with about a one inch trim of cuffed fur at each wrist. Two hidden sideslip pockets, fully lined. Lots of room and easy to layer. This coat is heavy and warm. Perfect winter coat!
As with most vintage-owned fur coats or clothing in the 1940’s, the owners took pride in their furs and would have their initials embroidered inside.
